Bag Lady

| | Comments (0)
We have a neighborhood crazy lady. (Doesn't everyone?)

No one knows who she is or where she comes from, but we all have our tales to tell about her. She likes to knock on doors and ask for Dawn dish washing liquid. That's how I first met her. She is often spotted walking around the neighborhood and our area of town. She wears long skirts and carries a plastic bag. In the summer, she holds an umbrella over her head. Some neighbors have notified the police when they have spotted her, but she disappears before the police can locate her. Perhaps I should do something to help this lady, but I don't do crazy very well. Strange, isn't it? You'd think I would be quite comfortable with crazy by now. Nope. I just maintain my customary deer-in-the-headlights position.

I tell you all this so that you will understand the significance of the plastic bag I found this morning.

On my front porch.

On my bench.

Someone, and I'm assuming it was the crazy lady, left a bag of Dawn and other items on my front porch. Have I mentioned how proprietary I am? My domain is my domain.

This makes me wonder, what else has been going on on my front porch while I was sleeping?

Needless to say, we moved the bag off the porch and H is hooking the surveillance cameras back up.
