Obama Says I'm Selfish

I can see why Obama's words here sound offensive. They imply that anyone who doesn't adhere to his own ideology is "selfish." I can't say I identify at all with Ayn Rand's philosophy, though (she's the anti-Communist author of "The Virtue of Selfishness" shown at then end of the clip).

Sorry, I had one more thing I wanted to share: an article from the BBC that mimics my own sentiments (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7700913.stm). I hope you don't mind me sharing articles in this way.

All the best,
Alexandra

Thank you, Alexandra, for your comment and I appreciate the link you left, which I followed and read. I also followed the link to your MySpace and saw that you watch Stargate. Thus, your immensely good taste was revealed.

I haven't read Ayn Rand (yet) but from what I've heard I don't think she'd vote for Obama.

By the way, are you Melissa or Alexandra?

Am I Melissa or Alexandra?

A good question. LOL. Most people call me Melissa, but Alexandra is my baptismal name. Thus, people from church call me Alexandra, but most people I know call me Melissa. When I wish to post somewhere anonymously, I tend to use Alexandra, but since I've revealed me "true self," and my coveted myspace page (LOL), you may call me Melissa. Sorry for the confusion.

Either name is a nice one since Melissa means "a honey bee" and Alexandra means "helper and defender of mankind".
